Two beautiful and distinct cottages that each sleep up to four people, or eight people if joined as one Villa. The cottages date back as far as 1875 and each has a private garden. Plus you have a large communal garden in which you'll find an allotment and an orchard (help yourself to any produce), play gardens and loads of lawn for the more energetic.
Located in the Charente Maritime , on the northern edge of Cognac vineyard country with vines and sunflowers everywhere, the two cottages form part of a small group of buildings and barns. Together with the home of the owners Mark and Elaine they are situated on the edge of a quiet French hamlet called Villotte.
You have a large in-ground heated swimming pool which, at 12 metres by 6 metres, is one of the largest in the area. It's also one of the safest as it's just 1.2 metres deep throughout and is completely enclosed by fencing, toddler proof magnetic gates and is monitored by an alarm when not in use.
The pool area isn't overlooked from any direction and enjoys plenty of surrounding space to play and relax. More information about the cottages, the grounds, the pool, the immediate area and the sites to see can be found in the following pages.
